This week’s playlist was created by another pal from architecture school - Niki who has just recently completed her undergrad! Niki and I definitely connected over our love for music, in 2016 she was there tearing up the dance floor at a kaytranada show at Danforth music hall. It was one of my favourite live music experiences of all time. Dang! This playlist makes me want to groove!! It’s a great mix of sassy, chill, chic, tunes ranging from classics like Gloria Jones “Tainted Love” to some Robert Glasper sooooul food.
These days you can find Niki “biking around the suburbs (stoned exploring the burbs), doing lots of experimental cooking and baking and finally, binging real housewives of jersey cause it’s a feel good and makes me feel grounded hahaha”.
